Vrt-Express is a plant nursery situated in a small village close to the city of Porec, Istria, Croatia. The reason why we are writing this article is because our website is still at the moment written all in Croatian. We promise to all our regular clients that our site will be translated in English as well by the start of the next calendar year.
Plant Nursery Vrt – Express is specialized in growing Mediterranean plants, like lavender, helicrisum, rosemary , oleanders, roses, annual flowers, fresh and dry herbs and producing therapeutic oils for skin care, massage etc.
If you decide to spend a holiday in Istria, and you need fresh basil, rosemary, coriander, chilli, sage, oregano, chives or mint for mojito cocktails.
At the end of the holiday you can take back home some of our products, as dry herbs, therapeutic oils for yourself or your friends,
If you have a house in Istria or elsewhere in Croatia, and you need plants for your garden we can provide you with plants and advise which plant to choose. Per example this year extreme drought weather has shown great need to choose and plant drought resistant plants.
